Releases

Versions follow semantic versioning and are derived from annotated Git tags of the form vMAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. A tag-triggered GitHub Actions workflow builds the source distribution and wheel, verifies their metadata, and attaches them to a GitHub Release. No PyPI publication occurs.
